What happened when you were a child?

What happened during high school?
|
|
|
I worked hard and had a few good friends. Nothing special because I was rather shy and not very outgoing.
|

What happened when you went to college?
|
|

I flunked out after 3 semesters and ended up at a Community College!

What happened when you were dating?
|
|

I met a lot of frogs and then met my prince (or at least I thought I had).

He took me out for dinner and when we got back to his house, he knelt down on the floor and asked me to marry him, then held out the ring. It was very romantic.

What happened when you got married?
|
|
|
It was a very big day and there were lots of family and friends around. It was a very special day.

What happened when you had your first child?
|
|

It was a little scary because she was premature (8 weeks). She was so tiny but she was healthy and strong.

What happened raising your children?
|
|
|
I've learned patience and tolerance, along with many other skills that I don't think you can learn doing anything else.

Yes, I am a single parent. The "fairy tale" ended after several years of problems. My husband cheated on me and although we tried to work things out, he really didn't seem to want to and left me for her. He married her a year ago and lives "happily ever after". Life's funny that way!

I'm not a grandparent yet -- thank goodness!

I want to see all my children graduate from college and make wonderful lives for themselves. I would like to go back to school to get my Bachelor's degree and I'm thinking of going to Law School!
